Ruby Mae Sinkler Nelson, daughter of the late Robert Sinkler Sr. and Georgianna Sinkler, was born on July 20, 1944 in Richmand, Virginia. Ruby was educated in the Baltiomore City Public Schools System. She was employed as a Senior House Manager at Autumn Homes in Randallstown, Maryland. She was a dedicated worker who worked diligently until her health begun to fail. On August 3, 1974, She joined in holy matrimony to the late Jafus Nelson. They shared 32 years of marriage. At an early age, Ruby accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She recognized her need to have a relationship with god therefore she rededicated her life to Christ in 1997 at New Elizabeth Baptist under the pastorial ship of the late Pastor David boyd. She attended her church faithfully until her health declined. She loved her church family and her current Pastor, Wm. David Boyd. She was so happy shenever she was able to attend worship services. Having been reared in church she was so glad to be ''back home.'' Ruby was a people-person. She was a loving person who touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was kind, generous and would give you the shirt off her back. She had a sweet-kind spirit. Although Ruby didn't birth any children, however she was a mother to all of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed shopping, collecting knick-knacks. She especially loved to eat ice. Ruby departed this life on Friday, August 10, 2007 at Genesis Health Care faculty. She was preceded in death by her parenents and husband. Ruby will be missed by everyone. Her memories will be cherished by; her three sisters, georgia Mae Thacker, Ethel Elaine Sinkler and Lou Alice Lifsey; two brothers, Robert Sinkler Jr., and Charles Edward Davis; two sisters-in-law, Martha Sinkler and Carrie Nelson of South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Derrick Lifsey sr. Her church family, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Last but not least a very special great nephew Ronald ''Booda'' Jackson.
