Russell Berry 53, of Baltimore City, Maryland, passed away June 11, 2012. Russell was born August 21st 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Olga Berry and James C. Berry. Russell was a kind, independent and outgoing person. He loved nice clothes and always dressed to impress. He took great pride in his appearance and it showed. He also loved reading the Bible, going to church, watching movies, good food, and hanging out with his best buddy Brother John. Russell struggled with many disabilities, but he never complained. His greatest ability was being able to live a joyful and remarkable life. He was loved by all his family, friends and neighbors. Those who knew him may say he was gone to soon, but he used his time wisely and left behind a memory that will never be forgotten. Russell is survived by his brother Graylin Berry, Graylin's wife Victoria and there two children Towanda and Greg. Russell and Graylin enjoyed traveling in his earlier years of life. He is also survived by his daughter Sharliena Berry, Sharlienas' husband Emmanuel and her son Kailyn Berry. Russell always called his daughter princess, and was so excited to have a grandchild. Also he is survived by his son Derrick Berry. Russell always called his son big guy and is you meet Derrick today that statement is very true. Lastly he had muliply nieces and nephews. Some other special people in Russell's life were Pastor Johnson who was always an inspiration and true friend throughout Russells' life. Pastor Taylor who encouraged Russell throughout his life and in his very last days helped lift his spirit. His best-friend Brother John which whom Russell shared laughs, great talks, and good food. Also, the mother of his two children Brenda who he shared a good friendship with. Russell Berry will be received by his mother, Olga Berry, father James C. Berry, sister Vera Berry, sister, Colene Berry, sister, Melaine Berry and brother Quinten Berry. Although Russell will be missed dearly ""it is important that we live cheerfully. With a strong spirit of optimism, we need to be able to continually direct our minds in a bright, positive and beneficial direction and help those around us do so too. We should strive to develop a state of life where we feel a sense of joy no matter what happens. _D.I.
