Ruth A. Magruder Camp was born February 26, 1930 in Union Bridge, MD. She departed this life December 19, 2014, at Franklin Square Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Margie Tucker Clark and Charles Thompson, Sr. She was educated and worked in Westminster, MD. She was married to the late Richard G. Magruder Sr., and later the late John D. Camp. She leaves to mourn two sisters; Olivia Ward of Palm Coast Florida, Ann Tyler of Baltimore, MD; one brother Louis Thompson of Baltimore, MD. Daughters, Joanne Tucker Beard of Baltimore, MD., Marlene R. Magruder of Reisterstown, MD, Estella I. Cartnail of Baltimore, MD., Margie E. Lewis (Ralph) of Palm Coast, Florida, Bertha C. Gaither (Charles) of Sykesville, MD., Tasha Camp of South Carolina, Latrice and LaTonya Camp of North Carolina. Sons, Richard G. Magruder, Jr. (Rhonda) of Westminster, MD., Randy L. Magruder (Rebia) of Baltimore, MD. Son-in-law, Ronald T. Collins, Sr. of Owings Mills, MD., a host of grand children, nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by a brother the late Ira Tucker, a daughter Anita M. Collins (Sunny) and son Dana D. Magruder. She will always be remembered for her chicken 'n dumplings, homemade black walnut cake, putting puzzles together, shopping at the local second hand stores, singing her favorite hymns and wearing big beautiful hats. In her later years and during her illness she enjoyed visits from family and friends,Popeyes chicken and playing scratch off's. Viewing Joseph H.
