Ruth Rene Love, daughter if Major Thrower and Lottie Pearl Love, was born on May 13, 1934 in Gasburg Virginia. She departed this life peacefully in her sleep on October 14, 2013. Although she held many jobs over the years (she was a nurse's aide at St. Agnes Hospital, she was a seamstress at Londontown, she worked on the assembly line at Bendix, she spent the bulk of her working life employed by the Baltimore City Health Department), she had only one career - she was the mother of her six children. She had many other interests. She volunteered for numerous causes and was a faithful and regular member of Timothy Baptist Church until her health prevented her from attending regularly. She loved the fact that she was saved and had accepted Jesus Christ as her heavenly savior. Above all, Ruth was a fighter. Life was often hard, but she never wilted, she never quit. Her strength was her defining trait. Whether it was her physical strength when she gave you a hug, or her emotional strength through hardships, she persevered. Ruth leaves behind a legacy of Love, literally. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Rudy, and Richard, but she leaves behind her siblings and their families: Edith O'Blige, Geraldine and Alvin Jackson, Trent and Brenda Cornish, Beulah Cornish, and Benjamin and Beverly Cornish. She also leaves behind her six children and their families: Linda and Rashi Pinckney, Patricia and Jonathan Simmons, Terry and Kathy Love, Pamela Love and Aldreece Griffin, John and Nancy Love, and Kim and Raymond Bivens; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. She also leaves behind a host of friends and family. She made an impression on all that she met. She will truly be missed. Viewing Joseph H.
