A Time to be Born: On October 27, 1923, God gathered up all of his love and named her Ruth Virginia Saunders in Baltimore, MD. A Time to Die: On September 25, 2014, God smelled the sweet fragrance of her fully bloomed life and placed her in the heavenly bouquet of His peaceful and eternal garden. A Time to Learn: She received her education in the Baltimore City Pu blic school system. A Time to Plant: On November 9, 1942, Ruth was united in holy matrimony to Albert Randolph Saunders (who preceded her in death). In this household of love, they reared their children: Zetharay, Bernadine (who preceded her in death), Gladys (who preceded her in death) and Albert. A Time to Worship:: Ruth came to Christ at an early age. She was baptized into the New Shiloh Baptist Church family under the pastorate of the late Reverend Dr. J. Timothy Boddie. She was a faithful and dedicated member of several choirs, other ministries and committees. One of her proudest achievements was when she became a deacon in New Shiloh. She humbly served communion to the sick and shut-in members. A Time to Serve: Ruth will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated member of New Shiloh's Culinary Ministry. There are members who may have encountered those SPECIAL moments in the kitchen with her. A Time to Leisure: She enjoyed various hobbies including: sewing, bowling, catering with family members and traveling. A Tifme to Love: Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed holidays and special events with family and friends. A Time to Mourn: She leaves a legacy of love with daughter, Zetharay Bullock (Howard) of Wallace, NC and Son, Albert Joseph Saunders (Barbara) of Upper Marlboro, MD.
