SALLIE I. YOUNG, daughter of James F. Goodwyn Sr. and the late gladys P.Hall, was born on August 11, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on June 6, 2009, after a lengthy illness. She married the late Joseph L. Young. She leaves to mourn; her daughter, Lucia Smith, two grandchildern, Elijah Jenkins and Isaiah Jenkins; two brothers James Goodwyn Jr. and Paul Goodwyn; three sisters Betty Jefferson, Vernita Bryant and Gwendolyn Green; uncle, Chester Purnell; three aunts, Margert Stevenson, Joan Mitchell, Gloria Nhambui and stepmother, Shirely Goodwyn; bestfriend, Jacqueline Burnman; nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
