On Sunday, November 23, 2014, God sent anangel to call Samuel home from labor to rest. Samuel answered the call and left this world behind. Samuel Bryant III , was born on June 24, 1951, He was the eldest son of the late Samuel Bryant Jr. and the late Mary White-Bryant. Samuel also known as "Buddy" to the family was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He received his high school diploma from Southern High School. He also attended Bay State College. He held various tbrms of employment, He was a Steel Worker for Bethlehem Steel at the Sparrows Point Ship Yard for many years. He drove for the Yellow Cab Company and the County Cab Company. Also. he was a salesman at Radio Shack. In 1968 he met his higjl school sweet heart Cynthia Williams. From that union came his only daughter, Shirelle Renee. In 1982 Samuel was united in matrimony to Elsie Hawkfs, From that union came two sons, Samuel Bryant IV !Ifld Brandon Bryant. Later in life he met Betty "Ann" Tun, She was his corrtpiWlon until the end. Samuel received his early spiritual edu~ation from the Pimtecosta! Church and was baptized at Leadenhall Baptist Church in Baltimore. Sam bad an outgoing personality. He had the gift of "gab" and could strike up a conversation with a perfect stranger. He often, told not so funny jokes, however you had to laugh because he found so much humor in them. in his eariier years he loved to ride his bike. He would ride allover the city. He even participated in a bike a thon, When his daughter was old enough he put her in a bike seat and took her to ride along. He enjoyed the game of chess. He half a passion for good music and loved to dance. He had a massive collection of comic books. Sam was a people person, You could often find him at the Lafayette Square Park hanging out with his buddies. He loved everybody especially his children. He was more than. a brother to his siblings, he was a "Friend". He lives to cherish his memory: Loving Daughter, Sbirelle Renee Peterson (Reginald);sons, Samuel Bryant IV (Nicki) and Brandon Bt'yant; five grandchildren, Reginald Peterson Jr., Darrius Peterson, Christian Peterson, James Edwards & Samuel Bryant V; great-grand daughter, Amaree Peterson; Sister, Diana Anderson; brother, Garland Bryant, of South Mills, NC and sister, Brenda Harris of South Mills, NC; Aunts, Arminter Parker and Leo Holt; Cousin, Juliet Parker; Special Companion, Betty "Ann" Tutt, her children, Tina Scott, Latonya Crowder & Otis Tutt, her grand children and great-grand children and a host of other relatives and friends.
