October 8, 1947 – August 15, 2018
SAMUEL FREDERICK WILLIAMS, the son of the late Samuel and
Mattie Williams, was born on October 8,1947. He was called home after
a lengthy illness on August 15,2018. He was preceded in death by his
brother, Samuel Jr. and his two sisters, Paulette and Claudette.
Samuel accepted Christ at an early age. He received his education
from the Baltimore City School System. He served as an Army Sargent
Specialist-a for 3 years where hefought bravely in the Vietnam War driving
tanks. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. As a civilian,
Samuel worked for local employers such as: Cloverland Dairy, Pepsi,
Greenspring, Coca Cola, and various other entities.
Samuel was a talented artist who loved music. He was a hard worker,
as well a loving and caring individual with an infectious smile. His easy
going nature made it easy to make friends wherever he went.
Samuel leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Anita Louise Williams;
three children, Tina Johnson, Leslie Owens and Samuel Williams, Jr.;
(one ex-spouse, Joyce); six grandchildren, Marquetta Vaughn, Niteara
Mickey, Eugene Mickey, 111, Andre Owens, Jr., Sydney Williams and Sammy
Williams, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Morgan Bailey and Demi Rich;
seven stepchildren, Teninille Thomas, Marcus Haynes, Derrick Haynes,
Christopher Haynes, Teleya' Haynes, Tracee' Haynes and Aaron Haynes;
six step grandchildren, Jaiden Thomas, Torrance Thomas, Abigale Haynes,
Aaliyah Haynes, Jace Lane and Logan Haynes; two sons-in-law, Martin
Johnson and Andre Owens, Sr.; one daughter-in-law, Nicole Williams;
two siblings, Rev. Beaufort Williams and Deborah Monroe; one sister-in-
law, Brenda Williams; one brother-in-law, Houston Monroe; and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
