God blessed the union of Vernon L. Bailey Sr. and Mae E. Bailey with the birth of Sandra Louise (Bailey) Luck on August 14, 1953. Sandra was affectionately known to family and friends as Sandy and Momas. God determined that Sandra had fought this battle long enough and called her home on October 5, 2014. Sandra received her education at St. Edwards Catholic School and Forest Park High School. She married her childhood love Jeffrey Luck Sr. and out of this union there were two children, Nina and Jeffrey Jr. Then she was blessed with a stepson, David Dorman ]r, Sandra had a variety of jobs which included working at the San Francisco Sherriff's Department and modeling in California. Sandy was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was someone who would open up her home and heart for those in need. Sandy was phenomenal, strong, outspoken, zealous, and independent. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Sandy hosted many Sunday dinners at her home. She was famous for her pig feet, potato salad, greens, and fried chicken. She departed this life to join her mother and father; sisters, Helen and Constance; and brothers, Vernon jr. and Bruce. She leaves to cherish precious love and memory: her children, Nina and Jeffrey Jr. (daughter in law Nitisha); stepson, David; two sisters, Theresa and Yvonne; two brothers, William and Norman; four grandchildren, Paris, Tre'vell, Tajah, and Prince; one great grandchild Alaia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
