Sandra Maria Ricks, daughter of the late PaulR.Curtis,Sr.and Gertrude Theresa Curtis was born January 27, 1956inBaltimore City, Maryland. She transitioned from this lifeAugust1,2020 after her battle with bone cancer.

She was educated not only in the Baltimore City School System but also the "SchoolofLife".

She was a carpenter by trade and appearedina Baltimore Sun Paper news article in January of 1988 where she gives an accounto fher experienceina project to repair Baltimore City Homes in Mount Winans, where she herself livedinSouth Baltimore. Later in life she work in the Hospitality field and was a caregiver. Her face grace's the "Best Crabs" advertisement located in Baltimore City.

She enjoyed traveling, was an avid pet lover and movie buff, shewas the lifeof the party! Anyonewho knowsher knows thisto be true. She was a lover of God, family and friends, a devoted mother and grandmother. Shewas always willing tohelp anyone inneed.

Sandrawill be missedsincerely by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by: her son, Charles /DoughtyIll;three grandsons, Charles Lamont,Doughty , Donyae KeonDoughty and DaJ'ai,·Kendrick; :two granddaughters, CharliyahRosalie Doμghty and ,Chania LaSandra Doughty; foursistersBeverly, Paula, Pamela and Iris; four aunts, two uncles, four nieces, five nephews five great-nieces, onegreat nephew, onegreat-great nieceand a host of relatives and friends.
