Obituary

On Tuesday, September 2, 2014 Sandra Christine Wheeler climbed the stairway step by step to her Heavenly Home. Sandra affectionately known as "Sandy" was born on September 16, 1950 to the late Vincent Wheeler and Martha Jackson. Sandy was educated in the Public Schools of Baltimore City. Her work experience included a variety of positions within a few Corpora- tions, but her passion was within the clothing industry. She loved her position at New York Fashions. A clothing store that catered to the Modern Woman. Sandy loved to dress and even had her own way of flaunting how the current styles should be worn. Even the neighbors as well as friends respected her sense of style and they would seek her approval before stepping out in their own apparel. She was the mother of two sons, Teddric and Ceddric who she loved and adored. Sandy loved to entertain and she would shower you with love once you en- tered her home. She would get to cooking and you had to eat or you were not leaving her house without a plate. Sandy was also a true Baltimorean who loved seafood especially steamed crabs. She also loved the Lord and would often turn her TV to Music Choice to concentrate and sing with the Gospel selections. Sandy worshipped at the Sweet Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Terry Thornton. Sandra Wheeler was a no nonsense person who tolerated no foolishness and if this sort of activity came her way she would quickly end it. She was preceded in death by her parents: Vincent Wheeler and Martha Jackson; her siblings, Vincent, Wesley and Ricky Wheeler and two very spe- cialfriends, James "Bunky" Reese and James "Fish" Moore. She leaves to mourn and cherish her passing: her sons, Teddric Anderson and Ceddric Reese; grandchildren, Teddric, Keddric and Kayla; great grandchild, Micah Anderson; a special cousin, Peggy Brown; two goddaughters, Anglecia Mitchell and Kanisha Nelson; a beloved sister, Ida Coleman, a beloved broth- er, Kevin Carolina; two beloved daughters, Renee Scott and Michele Stevens; god sister, Jackie Diggs and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
