Sara Beatrice Brown, daughter of the late Ward MacArthur Peterson and Lula Bell Whitaker Peterson was born on October 22,1948, in Greensboro, Alabama. God called her home to Glory on Friday, November 8. 2024.She was proceeded in death by her oldest brother. Baby Peterson.

Sara spent most of her childhood in Alabama. She received her early education in Alabama with the Hale County School system. In 1965 her family moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she finished her education with Baltimore City Public Schools.
Sara was a caregiver. She worked in the health care industry her entire career. She worked at several healthcare facilities, including the University of Maryland Hospital, Jewish Convalescent Home and Future Care to name a few.
Sara was not only a caregiver professionally, but she was a caregiver for her parents. She took great care of her father Mack until his death. Sara also cared for her mother Lula until she was no longer able.
Sara loved games. Cross Word Puzzles, Solitaire and Candy Crush were some of the favorites she would play on her on iPad. Watching TV and Game shows were her past time. The Baltimore Ravens was her favorite sports team.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving mother Lula Bell, faithful son Reginald Peterson & daughter-n-law Shirelle Peterson: devoted son Thomas Brown: brother Willie "Cebo" Peterson and sister-n-law Reverend Theresa Peterson: four grandchildren. Reginald Peterson Jr. Darrius Peterson. Tomesha Brown & Christian Peterson: eight great grandchildren. Amaree Peterson. Kori Peterson. Zayden Peterson. Khalil Peterson. Stone Peterson.
