Sarah A. Cheek, daughter of the late Robert and Tessie Cheek was born on May 4, 1941 in Henrico City Richmond, Virginia. She departed this life on January 2, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She received her education in the Baltimore Public Schools, upon completion she started working at Maif Insurance Co. in Annapolis, Maryland, from there she became employed at the Office of Administrative Hearings in Hunt Valley, until she retired after 25 years of service. Sarah made numerous friends wherever sM went and will be missed by all who really knew her. Sarah was a stylish dresser who loved to party and travel especially to Richmond, V A. Sarah was an avid reader of novels especially biographies of old movie stars. She leaves to mourn: four sisters, Mary who preceded her in death, Emma Johnson of Baltimore, MD, Hester Randolph and Louise Baskerville of Richmond, VA; one brother, Rev. Oscar Mitchiner and sister-in-law, Iris of Richmond, VA; one niece, Lisa Johnson; two nephews, Charles who preceded her in death and Anthony Johnson; sister-in-law, Sofia of Severn, MD; brother-in-law, 0 'Neil Johnson who preceded her in death; four great nieces, Tracee, Michele, Krystal and Ashley; three great nephews, Antwan, William and Anthony Jr., of Baltimore; devoted friends, Carrol Robinson, Tamara Crawford, Norma Brooks-Perry, Myrtle Parker, and Emily McKray, Rodger Ford and Joseph Lott of Baltimore and a host of relatives and friends.
