Sarah David daughter of the late Thomas David, Sr. and Annie Levy David was born July 12, 1938 in Summerton, South Carolina. The third of six children, one sister, Mary Cain of Baltimore, Maryland and four brothers, John Wesley, Thomas Jr., Willie and Henry David, all of whom preceded her in death. Sarah also had one son, David Thomas who also preceded her in death. She received her formal education in the public school system of Clarendon County. God called Sarah (Cooney) to rest quietly in her sleep on the morning of April 25th in her home. She leaves to cherish her memories: three grandsons and one granddaughter; her sister, Mary Cain; two sisters-in-law, Louisanne David (John Wesley) of Baltimore and Rosa Bell David (Henry) of Alcolu, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, andfriends.
