Sarah Ann Parker Coleman, daughter of Ollie Parker and the late Jasper Parker, was born May 7, 1951 in Baltimore City. Sarah was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She continued her education at PTC Career Institute and the Catonsville Community College earning certificates of completion for Geriatric Nursing Assistant and Nursing Support Technician. She started her nursing career in private duty before becoming employed by the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Sarah was diversified in her profession. She later became employed by the Juel's Adult Day Care Center and finally the Hillcrest Clinic until her illness prevented her from working. Her nursing skills proved to be monumental to the care of her father during his illness. Sarah exhibited strength and courage throughout her illness constantly telling us, ''Not to worry, it's in God's hand.'' Sarah was known for her sassy talk and speaking her mind. She loved her big face watches, which were tools of her trade. she love shoes, purses ''Bingo scratch-off'' and lotteries. But her staple was her flaming red hair. Her two sons and mother were the center of her life. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Then on February 5, 2006 her Lord and Savior called her home. She leaves beautiful memories to: her sons, Barry Coleman, Dana Cooley; her mother, Ollie Parker; daughter-in-law, Lakishia Coleman; granddaughtr, Caprice; two sisters, Shelia Dixon and Blanche Summers; three brothers, John, Wayne and Ronnie; sister-in-law, Renata Parker; brother-in-law, Charles anderson; sister, Gerta Mae Shoffner; two brothers, Julius and Clyde; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her father Jasper Parker preceded her in death.
