Saundra Ruthnetta Moore, born October 24, 1943, to the late Eugene and Marie Johnson, was one of four children. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where she always strived for excelience from an early age. At just 16 years old, she left home in pursuit of a brighter future.

Saundra worked at Prominent Delicatessen in South Baltimore while attending medical school. A dedicated student, she graduated at the top of her class from Johns Hopkins University Hospital with a degree as a Registered Nurse. She went on to fulfill her dream career at Kernan Hospital and Church Home & Hospital, later transferring to Sinai Hospital-Levindale Branch, where she continued her service as a Registered Nurse.

Saundra devoted her life to caring for others and deeply loved her family. She found joy in family gatherings, laughter, and the simple moments that brought everyone together.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Angelique Moore; grandchildren Brittany Moore, Brandon Woods, Bradley Moore, Breanna Moore, Antoinette Moore, and Amyiah Moore; and great-grandchildren Jamari and Kynia Woods, Bradley Moore Jr., and Kyrie. Saundra was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, her brother, and her husband. Saundra’s life was a beautiful legacy of love, strength, and service. She will be truly missed and forever loved by all her family and friends.
