IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sean
Beckett
May 11, 1973 – January 7, 2017
A soldier, warrior, trooper, fighter, homeboy, brother from another
mother, lifelong eternal friend, strong, leader, loyal and true to what he
believe and the ones he love. Perhaps you have used one or more of these
words to describe him; maybe you knew him as BAMM! The Cousin or
The Friend that remained always ready to defend protect and help out the
family and friends he loved and cared about; or you shared a special kind
of associated love and respect for the man who moved about the old
"neighborhood, seldom quietly, whether inside the house or slowly
walking from porch to porch, greeting neighbors new and old, everyone
knew when he is around.
Outspoken, uninhibited and never intimidated by

of a matter; A Straight to the point kinda guy who
did not mince words; said what he meant directly, clearly or sometimes
not so clearly, even if what he said upset someone. Everyone has a story
and many will continue to relate the story and the times they shared with
him for many years to come.
Now this is another story-about family-about our loved one
Sean Wesley Beckett, 43, husband of Tania L. Beckett of Baltimore,
MD for 11 years. Sean passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the
Northwest Hospital.
Born May 11, 1973, in Baltimore, Maryland, Sean was the son of
Lauretta (Etta) Brown and Samuel W. Beckett, III.
Sean's early life story from childhood to adolescence to young
manhood is quite similar to that of many youth and many of his beloved
cousins. With that said, the bond of love between them all, and each of
them individually, has always remained strong. The love he held for
ALL who were close to him remained strong and true to the end of his
life.
Sean attended Baltimore City public schools; he worked for Baltimore
City, Shiloh Christian Community Church, Milk and Honey Child Care
Center, and Union Memorial Hospital. His comeback effort was marked
by many hurdles of highs and lows, starting with his decision to be
baptized, on May 13,2003,
the start of a new beginning.
Sean loved his family beyond the expression of words. He especially
loved his mother, Lauretta, so much so he looked for and found the
perfect match with his wife, Tania, whom he married on December 31,
2005. This family of five included three sons, Kelvin 'KC' (Monae),
Kyron, and his namesake, Wesley. This family shared life and love to the
extent allowed to include a daughter and sister, Renita and a brother,
Demetrius, from prior relationships.
