Selena Grady, was born on January 8, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Louise Pew Wilson and John L. Grady. Selena, who was affectionately known as 'Momma', went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

Selena was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System.

Selena loved to have a good time and to be around family and friends. Many loved Selena, and she embraced everyone she met. Selena loved sports, especially basketball. Her favorite basketball team was the Phoenix Suns.

Selena will be deeply missed.

She leaves to mourn two sons, George Benton and Weja Grady; one son-in-law, Eugene Coleman and was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin Grady and William Grady, and one son-in-law, Charles Freeman. Selena also leaves to mourn five daughters, Emma Grady- Freeman, Pamela Benton, Yvette Benton, Rhodel Grady, Dorcus Coleman, and one daughter-in-law, Hattie-Mae Benton; one god- daughter, Shawntay Ford; 26 grandchildren, a host of great-grand- children, great -great grandchildren, and other family members and dear friends.
