Into the gates of Paradise Vivan Mabel Rose made her transition September 21, 2009 at Northwestern Hospital Center, Rnadallstown, Maryland. Vivuan who was affectionately known as "Sister" was born November 24, 1934 to the late Marcellis C. Rose, Sr. and Mabel Dukes Davis Rose in Baltimore, Maryland. She was educated in Baltimore City Business School. She excelled in education, also attending Morgan State University College. Jazz, Football, and exspecially baseball were her favorite pastimes.Vivian regularly watched Jeopardy, frequntly giving the corrct response. As a loving family-focused person, Vivian spent quality time with her children and brothers, as well as her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. After accepting Christ at an early age, she joined Ebenzer A.M.E., the family church, over 60 years ago. Later she rededicated her life and became very supportive of her daughter when she Pastored Shalom Outreach Ministry. When her daughter Pastored at Universal Spiritual Temple of Christ, where Arch Bishop Louise Hammond is Overseer, Vivian served on the Mother's Board. After reuniting with Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Vivan served faithfully on the Steward's Boared, and precious Gems. Despite battling chrorinic illnesses for many years, Vivan worked for 20 years at the Social Security Adminstration. Vivian leaves to cherish her memeory daughter, Bishop Thersa Jones; son Eric RoseMichele; grandchildren James Jones, Eric Jr., Daymar Evan, and Jewel Rose; brothers Dr. Vttel, Ulysses Christine, and Willie. Siblings Marcellus Jr., Talmadge, Dorthy, and David preceded her in death. Vivian also leaves to cherish her memory a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as lifelong friends clara crawford, Shirly Jackson, and Virginia Carter. Vivian fought a good fight, finidhed her course, and now is laid up for her a crown of righteousness.
