Obituary

Shacon Latoya Madison, beloved mother, family member, and friend to many, was born

to the late Sonia Yolanda Madison and the late Charles Madison Sr. on May 9, 1981 in

University Hospital. She entered into rest at Sinai Hospital on April 11th, 2022 at the age of

40 years old, from a sudden illness.

Shacon was the second child to Sonia and Charles, and only girl of her siblings, Charles

Madison Jr. and Jameak Madison, who preceded her in death. As such, she played the role

of protector and provider for her brothers, from a very early age. Shacon had an inseparable

bond with her brothers, well into their adult years.

Shacon was born and raised in West Baltimore, and attended Baltimore City Public Schools

for her entire young life. She graduated from Walbrook High School's Class of 2001. While

attending Walbrook, she was a member of the ROTC program. Upon graduating, Shacon

entered the work force, and secured a career as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, where she

went above and beyond for each of her patients. She worked at various Future Care and

elderly residential facilities throughout Baltimore City and County.

In her early twenties, Shacon married Tyron Owens. They would remain together for eight

years. Years later, she would unite with Louis Coleman, her long term partner. From this

union, she bore three phenomenal children: Louis Coleman Jr., Logan Coleman, and Savion

Coleman. She loved them with her heart, and would shower them with gifts constantly.

Shacon had a one of a kind personality. She readily took pride in her appearance, especially

her hair. She would readily defend anyone in need, and was generous with her time and

money. Her energy could light up a room instantly, and her laugh was contagious. She

loved to crack jokes, and was fond of live entertainment, music, and adventures. She could

often be seen with her brother Jameak, and her best friends, Jodie Heard and Tyrese Malloy.

She also enjoyed cooking meals, and dining on Baltimore's delicacies, especially seafood

Shacon's spirited presence will surely be missed by family and friends alike.

Shacon leaves to mourn: her partner, Louis Coleman, Sr; her children, Louis Coleman, Jr,

Logan Coleman, and Savion Coleman; her stepfather, Charles Thomas; her stepmother,

Jenniter Coleman; her brother, Charles Madison, Jr.; her grandmother, Virginia Singletary;

her aunt, Carla Singletary; her cousin, Unique Robinson; her cousin, Antonio Singletary;

her cousin, Sharae Daniels; her nieces, Jamera Madison, Amour'e Madison, and Ja'Miyah

Madison; her friends, Jodie Heard, Tyrese Malloy, and Cassie Greene, and a host of aunts,

uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
