Shannon Lamont Gasby, [r, 21, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019

in Baltimore, Maryland .. He was born on October 31,1997 in

Newark Delaware to Taresa C Morrison and Shannon L Gasby, Sr.

Shannon grew up in Baltimore, Md, where he also attended High

SchooL Growing up he loved the game of football and enjoyed an

occasional basketball game. His all-time favorite things were

listening to music and making a fashion statement. If you didn't

know; Shannon thought he could dance, but once you saw him dance

you realized he had his own interpretation and personal style of

expression. Anyone who knew him knew how much he loved to eat

and he considered himself to be a chef who loved creating new things

to try. Shannon's greatest love was the love for his mother, sister,

baby girl and his nana amongst other close family members. If he

loved you, he was very protective of you.

Shannon and Deja Williams recently became the proud parents to a

beautiful baby girl named Dai-Lynn Skylar Gasby. It was love at first

site for him. Being a father gave him a purpose that motivated him to

stride in a more positive direction. The transformation of pure joy

when they were in each other's presence as the look on his face told

the whole story of his love affair with his daughter.

Shannon is survived by his daughter Dai-Lynn Skylar Gasby, his

mother Taresa C Morrison, his father Shannon L Gasby, Sr, his sister

Monee C. Morrison, his grandmother's Jaime S. McBee and Cindy

Gasby, his grandfather's Albert (Clyde) Morrison, Jr and Vincent

Gasby, his great grandmother Edna J Bacon, his god brother Quran

Robinson, his aunts Shawnie Gasby, Charlotte Montgomery, Patrice

Calicott, Deidre Elsezy and host of uncles, cousins and numerous

extended family.
