Shantrese Darnice Taylor was born March 17, 1971 to Goldie Brandon Jr. and the late Jocelyn Simmons in Baltimore, Maryland. She was called Home by the lord suddenly and unexpectedly on December 26, 2009. Shantrese known to family and friends as "Shanny" or Shannon"". Shantrese received her education from the Baltimore City Public School System. Shantrese accepted Christ at an early age at the Christian Community Church. She knew the word of God and loved the lord. This led to her and her three sons, Thomas, Tevin and Trey Goff to be baptized by Rev. Earl Green at First Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church in 1996. Shanny loved her sons very dearly and saw that they had an enriched life. She was well known by her distinguish Shanny voice. She was loved by many and those who knew her called her a true friend. No matter where Shanny went she had a GOOD TIME. She was employed at the Social Security Administration through Chimes. She was also employed at Oak Chest Retirement Living and Stop Shop & Saved. On April 11, 2001 she was united in matrimony to Edward C. Taylor. Spending family time together was a blessing for them. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Edward C. Taylor; father, Goldie Brandon Jr.; stepmother Sandra Brandon; stepfather Ronnie Simmons; sons, Thomas Shelly Scott: brother Alonzo and Goldie Brandon III; grandmother, Katie Brandon; Harvey; sister-in-law Wanda Brandon; brother-in-law Mike Newman and hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
