Sharmaine Doughty, daughter of Matthew Doughty and the late Edna Marie Doughty, was born on June 1, 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland. She suddenly departed this life on May 14,2017.
She received most of her formal education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System. Sharmaine was a proud graduate of the Woodlawn Senior High School class of 1995. After graduation, she held various jobs and was a loyal and committed employee. She worked several years for Goodwill Industries and Chimes, Inc.
Sharmaine had a bright and infectious smile that lit up a room. During her free time she loved to dance and make others laugh. She loved to talk and could hold a conversation with anyone. She made friends wherever she went. Sharmaine was also a proud mother and loved her children to the moon and back.
She touched the lives of family and friends. Sharmaine will be truly missed.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: William, Donnie, and Classie Marie; father, Matthew Doughty; brothers, William Stansbury (Callena), Maurice Stansbury, and Kevin Brown; grandfather, Benjiman Leach; aunts, Brenda Williams, Eleanor Wilson, Valether Johnson, Ruth Fulton, Hester Garrett, Dee Cater, Delores Doughty; uncles Curtis Leach, Keith Leach(Carolyn); God-parents, Lawrence Keller (LB), Leo Ford, Mae Jordon, and Karen Wooden; Godbrother, Shank Keller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
