Obituary

Sharon L. Booze was born May 16, 1960 to the late Dorothy "Dot"
Burris in Portsmouth, Virginia. Sharon departed from this life
suddenly on January 6, zor S.

Sharon relocated to Baltimore, Maryland at a young age and was
raised by her grandmother the late Cassie Jones.

Sharon was given the name Shirley at birth but was always known
by and referred to as Sharon, so in 1989 she legally changed her name
to Sharon Lavone.

Sharon received her education through the Baltimore City School
System. She later went on to further her education at Baltimore City
Community College. Upon completion she went on to become a
surgical technician.

In 1990, Sharon became a correctional officer for the State of
Maryland's Patuxent Institute. After many years with the maximum
security correctional facility, in Z005, she became a part of the Johns
Hopkins Hospital family where she enjoyed helping others while
serving as a surgical technician.

Everyone that came in contact with Sharon knew she was a pleasant,
fun, loving, and happy person. She was the life of the party and could
light up any room. She could bring a smile to anyone's face, but she
was very protective when came to her family. Sharon truly enjoyed
family and friends.

Sharon Booze leaves to cherish her memory and her enduring love:
two sons, Dominic Vanlandingham and Eric Booze; one daughter-in-
law, Cr ystal Vanlandingham; three grandchildren, Corey, Colton,
and Sebastian; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and
friends.
