Sharon Folkes passed away from this world and into the loving arms of her awaiting Jesus, on August 22, 2008 peacefully. Sharon was the daughter of the Audrey Folkes and the late Bookerf Bryant. Sharon was a witty, happy and intelligent person, always curious, a hard worker and diligent. She was educated in the Baltimore school system; she graduated from Southern High School. Shortly after that she attended nursing school and graduated. She worked as an in-care provider; Ammark parking and finally then received her C.P.R. certificate. Sharon always friendly, with big eyes as large as silver dollars as quoted, "Girl I got to tell to something." Sharon was never one for loss of words, and she was not one to hold back information. If she knew what you needed she would quickly tell you, and if not, by the time you needed it she would know, she would have all the details. It seemed Sharon knew everyone; she would strut when she wanted to and would set you straight if needed be. Sharon loved her children with a firm hand, always teaching them to be strong and independent, for she knew as all mothers that this day would. Even as she looks through heaven's eyes watching them, she will continue to love them. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory: Letitia Kelly daughter, Aaron Nedd son and Erik Nedd son; grandchildren, Leonard Howard, Dana Henry, Nasir Henry and one granddaughter, Hope Nedd; and her lofe-mate, Joseph Kelly; two remaining sibling, Darrell Bryant brother, Luwanna Barber sister; Weldon Barber brother-in-law, Mitchell Tobin friend, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
