IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sharon
Henderson
April 7, 1961 – June 21, 2025
Sharon Henderson, beloved daughter of Juanita Moore Henderson and Secless Henderson, Sr. was born April 7, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life June 21, 2025, after a brief illness.
Sharon gave her life to God at an early age and joined First Baptist Church of Cherry Hill where she attended with her grandmother, Mary Henderson. She later joined The Tabernacle of The Lord Church and Ministries. Sharon loved to sing and dance to "Every Praise" by Hezekiah Walker.
Sharon obtained high honors throughout her school years. Boy was she smart! Sharon attended Virginia Union University from August 1979 to May 1983 and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Sharon made many friends at Union from many different states; however, her closest friends were friends whom she started with from elementary, middle and high school in Baltimore. More lifelong bonds were formed with friends she met at Union. While at Union, Sharon was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Future Business Leaders of America. During her time at Union, a sister circle bond developed with Donna, Denise, Gina, Lisa, Renee and Pam that lasted until God took her home. God truly blessed that bond.
Sharon was very sociable, the life of the party and quick witted. She loved to dance and sing. She will be remembered singing her favorite song by Monica, "Don't Take It Personal" (Just One of Dem Days). She had a nickname for everyone. Even on the morning before God took her home, she was in ICU laughing and joking.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Nicholas; her mother, Juanita, father, Secless Sr.; Godmother, Ethel White; her siblings, Sylvester Lowery, aka Pete, Revette (Curtis), Secless Jr., Anthony Sr., Melanie Jackson (Dana), Bonus sister, Tracy Chambers (Carl}; Aunts, Simera Pettiford, Lillie Ottasie Kendall, Rixene Hall, Sandra McCray, Ernestine Poulson. Uncles, Wilma Winborne, Alfred Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
