Sharon Y. Smith, beloved daughter of the late Norman E. Smith Sr. and the late Nancy L. Smith Thomas was born October 26, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland. On Sunday, September 18, 2016 Sharon answered God's call and quietly passed away to rest.

Sharon received her education at Carver Vocational Technical High School. After graduating Sharon took on numerous jobs such as hairstyl- ing and baking just to name a few, but the most important job she had was raising her three children.

At a young age Sharon enjoyed reading, drawing and watching horror movies, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Sharon leaves to cherish her legacy: three children, Carlton Lumpkins, Shawn Smith Sr., and China Robinson; nine grandchildren, Shawnkeyra, Shawnae and Shawn Jr. Smith, Brenden Jones, David and Davonte Downy, Kareem, De'Asia and Khalil Jackson; two daughters-in-law, Seanta Ward Smith and Ronnda Lumpkins; one sister, Pamela Smith; two brothers, Norman Jr. and Aaron Smith; stepfather, Earl Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
