Shawndette M. Smith, daughter of Larry and Margaret Smith was born on July 10, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on August 6, 2013. She was educated at Frederick Douglass High School and attended the Baltimore County Community College for two years. She was a full-time employee of the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, until retirement. Shawndette loved the Lord and was a member of the Baltimore City Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed sharing her time with others by doing volunteer work. She delivered meals to the sick and shut-in with the "Meals on Wheels " program. She also worked with the visually impaired as an "Audio Transcriber". Although she was a bit shy, with a humble personality, Shawndette made friends easily. She was loyal to her friends and her family. She'll be sincerely missed by all who knew her. Shawndette leaves to mourn: her mother, Margaret Grant; one son, Devin; two nieces, Britney and Ciaria; two nephews, Eric and Travis and their children.
