IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sheila D.
Crowder
February 7, 1957 – February 15, 2020
Sheila Denise Crowder was born to Virginia Davis and Edward Lee Davis
on February 7, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was called home to be
with her Savior Jesus Christ on February 15,2020.
Sheila was educated in Baltimore, Maryland school systems. After comple-
tion of her education she worked for the Maryland Transit Administration
for 20 years and the Housing Authority of Baltimore where she was a hard
worker and dependable employee with little tolerance of incompetent
people.
On June 23,1980, Sheila married Jeffery Crowder in Baltimore, Maryland.
From their union they have two sons, Deon and Jeffery. Sheila was feisty
and would argue her point in case to anyone, since she liked to be right. She
enjoyed watching sports, running, online shopping, watching Chicago Med,
Fire, Pd and going to try her lady luck at the Casinos. And you could always
tell she won big when you saw her big smile or see her clapping and doing
the happy dance. Sheila also loved life and being at family gatherings. More
importantly, she loved all her family.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father Edward Lee Davis and grandson
Deon Crowder. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband
of 40 years, Jeffery F. Crowder; two sons, Chief Warrant Officer 3 (Ret.)
Deon Crowder (Waquel), and Jeffery Crowder II, her three grandchildren
Dorian, Destani and Cameron, her mother, Virginia Davis, her mother in
law, Inez Crowder; her siblings Malinda Taylor (Charles), Johnny Davis,
Catherine Kerney (Tyrone), Darlene Jackson (Victor), Reginald Davis
(Sharon), Dwayne Davis (Robyn), two sister in laws, Charlene Crowder
and Eileen Bridgelall (David) two brother in laws, Joseph Crowder and
Kenneth Crowder (Matilda), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
