Sheila Ann Burrus Roberts, daugther of Harry and Alberta Burrus, was born on Febuary 10, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland. On Tuesday, December 25, 2007, the gates once again opened to joyfully receive the departed soul of our beloved Sheila Ann Burrus Roberts. She attended Baltimore City Public Shools. Sheila was employed with Esskay Meat Co. for several years. In 2001 she became a Bus Attendant for the Baltimore City Public School System. She remained employed until her illness in 2006. Sheila enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved cooking and taking trips. Sharing her love and time with her only grandchild, D'Asia brought her much joy and laughter. Sheila met the love of her life, James Roberts in 1989. They were joined in Holy Matrimony on December 30, 2002. She leaves to cherish fond memories: her husband, James Roberts; her parents, Harry and Alberta Burrus; daughter, Laqwenda Smith; granddaughter, D'Asia Banks; stepchildren, Tony Roberts, James H. Roberts, William Henry Roberts and Ernest Roberts; two sisters, Laneah Burrus Harding and Debaroh Burrus; brother, Michael Burrus; brother-in-law, Norwood Harding; niece, Tracy Lynn Anderson; nephew, Robert Cousins Jr. Junnie; two great nephews, Da'Quan Cousins and Jordon Anderson; four aunts, Mildred Keith Boykin, Anita O'Neal, Lorette Sheppard and Sharon Burrus; uncle, Reginald Burrus; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including her best friend, Sharon Conners.
