Obituary

Sherie Raverne Rogers better known as Sherrie was born on May 14, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William I. Rogers and Bertha Mae Villines (Rogers). Sherrie received her education in Baltimore City Public System, where she obtained her high school diploma from Lake Clifton High School. Sherrie gained employment at Union Memorial Hospital where she showed her willingness to care for people and her talkative manner until she retired, Sherrie had a short battle with pancreatic cancer in March 2026. On April 14, 2026 Sherrie transitioned and gained her wings.

 Sherrie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who unconditionally loved and cared for her family. She had a way of making each of us feel seen, valued and deeply loved. Her love wasn't just something she said. Her love was presented through her kindness, strength or the little things she did without ever asking for anything in return. Sherrie was preceded in death by two older siblings a brother: Joseph “Leon” Rogers, a sister: Patsy Ann Smithwick and her niece: Tangia Rogers-Croxton. Sherrie leaves to mourn a son: William Lewis, two grandsons: Makai Lewis and Aidyn Lewis, a niece: Kiahanna Green, a nephew: Marquese Croxton, and a great niece: Kayleigh Mcknight.
