Sherron L Alston affectionately known as "Ron" daughter of Sarah Jenkins, and the late Russell Alston was born on July 9th. 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on September 8th, 2014 following a lengthy illness. Ron received her formal education in the Baltimore City Public School System Southern High School. Ron later went on to receive her GED from the State of Maryland. In 1985 Ron attended several continu- ing education classes and went on to obtain her CNA certification. For over 10 years Ron worked at several nursing facilities in Baltimore until the onset of her illness, Ron accepted Christ at an early age and continued to trust and give God the glory to the end. Even during her lengthy illness she continued to praise and trust God no matter what, quoting "I know that God will take care of me" Ron was loved by many. Wherever she went she made friends. She had a loving, affectionate spirit that made you connect with her right away. She could find laughter in any situation and would often laugh at herself. Everybody knew Ron for her outgoing personality and smile. She was a people person that would do anything to help you in your time of rteed. Friends would often come around just to visit, knowing at some point you would be uplifted by her joy and laughter. She could find something positive in any situation, no matter how bad it seemed. Ron loved her children and family, and always had encouraging words and saw the good in everyone. She loved having her family around, laughing, joking andjust having fun.
