Sherry L
Branch
Dec 26, 1973 — Sep 7, 2026
Baltimore
SHERRY LYNETTE BRANCH was born on December 26, 1973, to proud parents Diane Hicks and the late William Branch, Jr. She departed this life on September 7, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, and along with her late grandmother Doris, attended Shiloh Christian Community Church. She always carried her Cabbage Patch doll to church with her every Sunday. Sherry was educated in the Baltimore City School System. While attending Westside Elementary School, she was a member of the dance group, ‘The Westside Tippy Tappers. The dance group performed around the city. She graduated from Carver High School in 1992. She was briefly employed with the U.S. Post Office. Because dentistry was her true passion, she went on to earn her certification as a dental assistant and was employed at the University of MD Dental School. Later, she earned her certification as an orthodontist assistant and was employed by Drs. Isaacs and Nawy Orthodontics in Perry Hall for many years. After leaving her position as an orthodontist assistant, she enrolled at CCBC to earn a degree in dental hygiene. Unfortunately, after herdiagnosis in October 2017, she was unable to finish.
Sherry was a beautiful person inside and out and was known for her short haircuts and pretty smile. She enjoyed trying new restaurants, watching cartoons, scary movies, and spending time with her family. Her children were the beaming light of her world. She always found the humor in things and demonstrated the true meaning of “crying laughing”.
We will forever miss her smile, her laughter, and her beautiful spirit.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved children, Lemuel and Bella Warrington; her devoted mother, Diane; four aunts, Irene, Sharon, Jackie and Penny; cousins, Kim, Todd, Wendy, Serge, Kelly, Unique, Brian, Paige, Monesha and Sydne; childhood friends, Tia, Trina and Wanda; devoted friends, Angie and Theresa; and a host of other relatives and friends. She also shared a special bond with her cousins Calvin and Keir.
She was predeceased in death by her father William Jr. (Bug), maternal grandparents, John Sr. and Doris Hicks, her paternal grandparents, William Sr. and Henrietta Branch, uncles Mick, Herbie Jacob, and James.
