Mills
June 14, 1964 – May 20, 2019
Shezoria Mills, the daughter of the late great Castile Mills and Garrison
Brown was born on June 14, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her
education through Baltimore City Public Schools, she attended Southern
High School and graduated in 1982. .
Shezoria gained her wings when God called home his beloved angel on
May 20, 2019. After a long battle with health-related conditions. Shera
fought a good fight and remained faithful.
In her early years Shezoria worked at Superpride as a Deli Clerk. She went
to BCCC from 1982-1984 studying to be an administrative assistant. Later,
she was employed by Denton Medical Center as an administrative assistant.
Shezoria was a hardworking, ambitious, and determined with everything
she seen fit to accomplish. Shera was all about family, she put her life on
hold to care for her mother (the late great Castile), also she dedicated herself
to her beautiful children. Despite everything that went on in her life, she
was a great mother, provider, friend to all, was never judgmental, and had
the biggest heart. Lastly, Shezoria enjoyed spending time with her family,
cooking, eating crabs, listening to music, and she loved her jewelry.
Shezoria joins her mother, Castile Mills, aunt Catherine "Kitty" Thomas,
sons Garrison "Sporty" Derricks and Kevin A. Derricks and sister Vandoria
Mills.
Shezoria is survived by: her two children, Deborah Derricks and Mantice
Mills (Joe'Nai Fuqua); four grandchildren, Camyrie Davis, Madisyn Mills,
Milan Mills and Kyius Gross; one sister, late Vandoria Mills; one brother,
Eugene Mills; Godsons, Isaiah "Mootsie" Darby and Geno Payne; nieces,
Krystal Mills; late Stephanie Mills and Jasmine Mills; one nephew, Eugene
Mills Jf.; Her beloved cousin, Tisha "Tee-Tee" Mills; beloved friends,
Ivory Jackson, Maria Rice and Shirl Brown and a host of family and
others ... she will be forever missed.
