Obituary

Shirley June Cook, was born August 24, 1941 to the late June C. and Charles L . Cook, Jr.

She attended both Baltimore City and Baltimore Count y Schools.

Shirle y worshipped and was confirmed at St. Johns United Methodist Church .

She started working at age 16 and continued working in the retail industry until retirement at age 62. After her retirement she played an instrumental role in helping her only son and daughter in-law raise her two grandchildren who meant th e world to her.

Shirle y took great jo y in spending time with her famil y and had a great love for her pets and all animals. She will alwa y s be remembered for her true selflessness . She touched ev e ryone she met with her kind spirit and will sincerely be missed b y everyone.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her loving and devoted son, Thomas Cook, Sr. (Tommy); daughter-in-law, Letrice Cook (Jeanette); two grandsons, Thomas Cook, Jr. (TJ), and Tyler Cook; godson, Gregory Rice, Sr., longtime special friends, Peggy Rice and Frances Berman and a host of other family and friends Viewing Joseph H.
