Shirley Ann Smith, daughter of Linda Brown-Clark and the late William Sylvester Brown, was born on June 19, 1963 in Baltimore, MD. She departed this life suddenly on August 4,2015. Shirley received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Patterson High School. Shirley accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and sang on the Youth and Young Adult Choir at Mt. Sinai Church of Christ under the leadership of the late Elder Jeff Julius Johnson. Shirley better known as "Light Skin" was known for her sense of humor and warm spirit. She loved to spend time with her family and friends singing, dancing, and listening to all types of music. Shirley was especially known for her talented singing abilities and was always the life of the party. Shirley had an infectious smile and always made people laugh. Shirley met and fell in love with Gervin Williams and from this union on May 6, 1979, her one and only daughter, the joy of her life, Daniell Katrice Williams was born. Shirley leaves to celebrate her memory, her mother, Linda Brown- Clark; one daughter, Daniell Katrice Williams; three grandchildren, Julian, S'Nyah, and Terry; four brothers, William (Lisa), Darnell, Mandell, and Nathan; four sisters, Darlene (Dante), Latricia (Larry), Gaynell (Nell), and Yvette and a loving and devoted fiancee Kevin Brown.
