Shirley Diana Walker, daughter of the late Gonzlee and Elva Gibson was born
on July 12, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life peacefully surrounded by
family and friends on April 18, 2016 after a brief illness.

Shirley received her education through the Baltimore city public school system. She
graduated from Douglas High School in 1969. She gained employment through Silver
Bakery, Mitchell's and Brussell Cleaners. In April of 2008 Shirley's dreams came true, when
she and her family followed in her father's footsteps and opened there very own
restaurant" Sinfully Seasoned" located in Northwest Baltimore. Shirley was in her element
doing what she loved, spending time with her family and cooking some of her favorite
dishes that the patrons loved to eat. She would feed anyone that told her they were
hungry, she welcomed you with open arms.

Shirley was affectionately known as " Shirley McGirlie by her family and friends, as
well as Grandma Dynamite or Grandma Shirley. Shirley had numerous past time activities
playing cards, reading books, doing crossword puzzles ,fussing and cussing and simply
raising the roof! She was a true comedian at heart, always making folks laugh which
brought her so much joy.

She made friends where ever she went with good conversation, her beautiful smile and
good down home cooking that made you want more.

When Shirley McGirlie came out she would always say" Let me tell you some Good S**t,
because I will stomp you like a M*f*king roach". However her bark was bigger than her
bite. Shirley gave her life to Christ and was baptized at John Wesley United Methodist
Church in 2002. She will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched.

Shirley's journey was one of tremendous love for her family, enjoying life and giving a
helping hand to family, friends and those in need. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved
