SIDNEY D. POPE, the son of the late Sidney Pope and
Sallie Edwards, was born on May I I, 1958. He departed this
life Thursday, September 7, 2017, after a lengthy illness.
Sidney was educated in the Baltimore City Public School
System. He worked for Baltimore City Public Works for 15
years. Sidney was a very loving son and brother. He helped
care for his mother through a long illness. He also lovingly
helped care for his disabled niece and nephew. He had a
very kind heart and was always smiling. He made numerous
friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by
everyone who knew him. He had many joys in life one of
which, was his brother Clifton Pope. He enjoyed sports, and
was a very snazzy dresser.

He was preceded in death by four sisters: Laura, Sallie,
Shirley, and Bessie.

He leaves to mourn: his daughter, Donesha Levine; two
brothers, Joseph Edwards and Clifton Pope; one sister,
Siadel! Calloway; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of
other relatives and friends.
