Sonia L. Hayes, the third child of Mildred L. Frisby and the late
J .awrence "Babe" Hayes, was born in BalLimore, MD on
December 5, 1961. She "vas embraced by God's eternal love on
April 3, 2018.

Sonia, affectionately known as "Pinky", received her education
through the I3alLimore City Public School System. She beld down
numerous jobs throughout her life journey.

Pinky grew up in a family of faith. She attended the Gethsemane
Baptist Church in her early years and occasionally attended with
her dad in her later years.

Pinky was legendary and well known in the Penn-North
community where she grew up. She was definitely the unofficial
communiLy president. Whenever you saw Pinky, she always had a
story to tell, with her crazy sense of humor that made you laugh.

Pinky was a proud mom and loving grandmother. She had her own
special way of showing her love for her kids and grandkids.

Pinky leaves five loving children to cherish her memory, Antonio
Hayes, Sonia IIayes II, Tierra Hayes, Keyonia IIayes and Dawan
Hayes; her mother, Mildred Frisby; 14 grandchildren; one sister,
Yvette Hayes (Cynthia Hayes proceeded her); four brothers.
Antonio Hayes, Earl Frisby, Keith Hayes and Lawrence Hayes
(Lamont Hayes & Lamont Frisby proceeded her); 4 nephews; 2
nieces; 2 great-nephews; eight aunts; three uncles; a
God-daughter, Sonia Martin; a great friend, Olivia (Libby) Harris,
and a host of other family members and friends.
