SPENCER LEE SUMMERVTLLE SR., son of the late Archie and Lettie Summerville, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 28, 1947. He departed this life on May 14, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Soon after, he became employed by the Baltimore County Sanitation Department. He later became employed by L&L Supply Corporation as a certified forklifter until his health would no longer allow him to do so. In August of 1999, he married the former Jennifer Jones. Spencer is the adored father of one son and two daughters. Spencer was affectionately called "Klink" or "The Colonel" by those who knew and loved him. He made many friends wherever he went and was able to put a smile on everyone's face with his joke telling and irresistible sense of humor. "Klink" will sincerely be missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and devoted family man. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Jennifer; one son, Spencer Jr.; two daughters, Tracy and Chappell; one son-in-law, Eric; three brothers, Archie, Louis and Hayward (one brother, Thomas preceded him in death); three sisters, Shirley, Barbara and Lettie (one sister, Catherine preceded him in death); three sisters-in-law, Rose, Allean and Alberta; five brothers-in-law, James, David, Rodney, Reginald and Ronald; nine grandchildren, Roderick, James "Nink," Kevonte "Tae," A'Rreal, Mya, Sean, Martese, Emani and Damon; one goddaughter, Ashley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
