Obituary

Stanley Carter Jackson, son of the late Delores Jackson and Claude Jackson

was born December 20, 1952 in Baltimore, MD. He suddenly departed this

life August 5, 2019.

He was educated in Baltimore Public School System.

He began his career with the City of Baltimore on November 1, 1971, as an

assistant teacher at. "Emily Price Jones Head Start Center" for 10 years then

he was promoted to an associate teacher. Due to budget cuts with Baltimore

City the Center was privatized and he was transferred after 20 years to a

new career with The Department of Public Works-Bureau of Water &

Waste Water-Meter Shop, where he performed various duties from 1991

until 2004, where he retired after "33" Faithful Years of Service.

Stanley was a very outgoing person. He spoke his mind, and we loved him

for it. Some of his hobbies were wrestling, surfmg the web, singing,

dancing, and spending time with his family and friends. His favor singer of

all time was Diana Ross, he loved her so much he has posters of her all over

his living room wall, in which are still hanging to this day.©Stanley has

lived in the same house for many, many years and is one of the oldest home

owners in his block, in which they will truly miss his BIG MOUTH!

From a young age Stanley sung on the choir "Solid Rock Gospel Singers"

Stanley spent his entire life in church, Southern Baptist Church, where he

was baptized at a young age. Later in life, he joined "St. Abraham Baptist

Church" now known as "The City of Abraham Church Ministries", under

former Pastor Rev. Clarence Yerby, current Pastor Richard Yerby, where

he was one of the lead Singers on the "Voices of st. Abraham" for many

many years. In 2007, Stanley left his church to follow Pastor Robert

Johnson & First Lady Donna Johnson to "Christian Center Church".

Preceding him in death was his Mother Delores Jackson, Father Claude

Jackson, two brothers Wesley McQueen and Darrell Gulliver SR.

Stanley leaves to mourn: his Life Partner for 40+ years Moses Fortson
