STEPHANIE GOODWIN was born on September 15, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland to Joyce Brown and the late Frank Goodwin. In the early morning on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, God whispered, "Peace Be Still" to Stephanie and she entered into eternal rest. Stephanie was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1987. She furthered her education at the prestigious Villa Julie College in Stevenson, Maryland where she majored in Pre Law. Stephanie loved to read the Encyclopedia and other books that would feed her inquisitive mind. She self taught herself French which she spoke fluently in dreams of visiting Paris one day. She spent her social time visiting Museums, listening to music, volunteering at nursing homes and mentoring children. Stephanie worked as a Healthcare Manager in the Human Services field for several years; and in 1999, joined the family business with her mother. She remained dedicated to her clients until she departed this life. She had a Heart of Gold and would help anyone that was in need. She always placed others needs before her own. Many of her loved ones remembered, how she would always know when they were down and in need of a comforting word. Stephanie would be sure to remind them how much she loved them. She was a dedicated friend and will be missed by all that she came in contact with. We will miss you Our Dear Friend! She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Goodwin. Stepahanie leaves in God's hands: her mother, Joyce Brown; two brothers, Perry Brown of Trenton, New Jersey and Dion Brown of Baltimore, Maryland; her aunt, Margaretta Williams; two uncles, Johnny "Mack" Williams and Danny Goodwin; a very dear cousin, Tara; a devoted companion, Troy Hill; her godchildren, Lauren Fowler and Bobby Smith; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including, Darlene Hill, Dale Runyon and Turquoise Hill, who loved her dearly.
