Obituary

Stephanie Bernadette McDonald, daughter of the late John and Rose

McDonald was born February 23,1956 in Norfolk Virginia. She was raised

in Baltimore, Maryland by her adopted mother Mary Adderly. She depart-

ed this life on October 28, 2019 after a lengthy illness.



Stephanie was educated in the Arch Dioceses of Baltimore Maryland.

After high school graduation from The Institute of Notre Dame,she attend-

ed Hampton University and Towson University.



She retired from The Federal Bureau of Investigation after twenty-five

years of service, where she was affectionately known as "Taz."



Stephanie met Stephanie Coates in 1983. The married on May 8,2014.

Together they raised two sons Kareem and Karell Coates.



At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ at Saint Ambrose

Roman Catholic Church. Deepening her relationship with God she was led

to Power of Faith Church where she served on the Media Ministry.



Stephanie's zest for life, loud infectious laugh and gregarious personality

drew many people to her, only to become lifelong friends. She would drive

anywhere for good food a relative or friends house and many restaurants

around the city. Stephanie also had a great love and knowledge of music.

She also loved to write poems.



Stephanie was very fond of her two grandmothers the late Marie Holland

and Sarah McDonald.



Stephanie's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her: wife,

Stephanie Coates; two sons, Kareem Coates(Toni), Karell Coates (Tonya).

Four grandsons, Mason Coates who preceded her in death, Kareem, Karon

and Zion Coates; Mother, Mary Adderly; Step Mother, Mabel McDonald;

Father-in-law, Richard Brewer; Mother-in-law, Gloria Brewer; Seven

Sisters, Crystal McDonald who preceded her in death, Cynthia Adamson

(Riley), Gina Williams (Vernon), Janice Bright (David), Pamela Adderly,

Lisa Dorn, Michelle Tillman and Angie Dorn; Four brothers, James Me-

Donald, Eric Adderly (Mavis), Steve Adderly and Jason Mason; Five

aunts, Deborah Cox, Gloria Green (William), Ruby Roscoe, Idell Gordon

(Quinton) and Frances McDonald; Five uncles, Melvin Hardy, Joseph

Holland, Alphonso Holland and Marshall McDonald; Two sister- in-laws,

Angela Wells (Darnell) and Sheila Jennings; two brother-in -Iaws, Larry

Coates and Greory Brewer. God daughter Kia Calloway and a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
