Sterling L. Young, son of Ronald Cook and the late Myrtis E. Williams was born on June 4, 1972 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on February 23, 2013. He received his education in the Baltimore Public School System. Sterling loved basketball and music. He prided himself with staying up with current events. He was a very devoted father and friend. He always had an listening ear for friends and family and was willing to do anything for them. He was so happy when he learned to cook in his later years. Sterling never left home without a cap and a shining face vaseline. He leaves to mourn: his father, Ronald Cook; his children, Niq Young, Deontay Jones and Nyeema' Young; his devoted friend, Beronica Martin; his sisters, Chontae Cook and Monyette Cook; brothers, Ronald Cook, Thomas Cook and Earl Tates; special aunt that proceeded him in death, Jeannie Norma Powell and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
