was born on January 28,1956 at city
Hospital. He departed this life on February 20,2019.
Steve was the youngest child of William and Dorothy Burrell (who preceded
him in death).
Steve received his education from Baltimore City Public School and later went
on to obtain his automotive certification from Lincoln Tech.
Steve was longtime employee of ASC where was a machine operator.
He retired from United Book Press.
Steve and his best Friend Stanley were known as two of the sharpest dressed
men in the Pimlico area!
One of Steve's favorite past times was dancing at the Embassy Room
listening to one of his favorite entertainers, Chaka Khan, oh how he loved her!
He was a junk food eater and enjoyed various sweets especially Nutty Buddy
ice cream cones.
Steve was a diehard Raven's fan! One of his biggest joys was when the Raven's
won their 1 st Superbowl on his birthday.
Later in life, Steve was led to become a member of Christ Deliverance Church.
Steve had an infectious smile and was loved by everyone he came in contact
with. He was doted on by his parents and grandmother.
Steve's biggest joy was the birth of his only son, Stephen Lamont Burrell, Jr,
whom he loved very much.
Steve leaves to mourn his son Stephen L. Burrell, Jr., daughter-Natasha
Marble, one brother-Anthony Burrell (Lolita), three sisters-Linda Fauntleroy
(Elijah), Bernadette Burley (Dwight) and Burnette Burrell; two grandchildren-
Charles Blackwell, Madison Kaufman; two nieces-Karen Fauntleroy and Ouiana
Washington (Jonathan, Sr.); five nephews-Kevin Fauntleroy, Keith Fauntleroy
(Claniesha), Kenneth Fauntleroy, Tyrone Byers and Dwight Burley, Jr. (Carlotta);
a longtime companion-Daunsa "Pickles" Smith; a longtime friend-James
"Peanut" Cleaton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
