Steve Eleanora Jacobs was born to the late Georgianna Ladoo and Belford Brown on December 10, 1936 in St. John's Bay Antigua. She received her education in Antigua. She left Antigua and moved to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands in 1964.

She married Alfred 1. Jacobs on December 3, 1966. Out of this union they had 3 children, Kaye L. Jacobs, Alfred B. Jacobs and Dexter T. Jacobs.

On December 1, 1979, Steve brought her 3 children to Baltimore, Mary- land. Upon her arrival she attended school for CNAIGNA Degree. She worked at Garrison Nursing Home. After the closing at Garrison, she worked for Brighton Manor Nursing Home. She retired from Blue Point Nursing Home in 2007. She was known well by everyone and a friend to everyone she came in contact with.

She leaves to survive: her 4 children, Kaye, Alfred Sr. (Tonya), Dexter (Adria), Verna (Orlando); 12 grandchildren, Byron, Courtiney, Natasha, Davon (Carla), LaKriesha, Montae, Deon, Monae, Nickira, Nakita, India, and Alfred Jr.; 8 great grandkids, Brandon, Byron Jr., Kaia, Dayonn, Tylar, Desira, Dylan, and Zion; 2 sisters, Ethlyn, and Vida and a host of relatives and friends.
