IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven
Jackson
April 4, 1957 – March 5, 2019
Steven Jackson entered this life on April 4, 1957, and passed away
unexpectedly on March 5, 2019. He was born to the late Elizabeth and
Clarence Jackson. Steven accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal
savior at a young age.
He attended St. Francis Catholic School from grade school through junior
high. He then attended and graduated from Baltimore City College High
School. He was a proud City Knight and loved the rivalry with his
grandchildren, the Poly Parrots.
Steve or Hammer, as his friends called him, loved sports, especially going
to baseball games. He spent his free time watching various sports games
on TV and playing his video game. Steve began his career at Union
Memorial Hospital in 1979 and remained until his untimely passing.
Union Memorial is where he met the love of his life. On June 30, 2006,
he married Dorothy, making their 20-year relationship official. Steve was
a homebody and loved being in the company of the love of his life. One
of their favorite pastimes was staying up all night watching old black and
white movies and listening to music.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Dorothy Jackson; daughter,
Arkima; son-in-law, Monte; grandchildren, Kwanita, Nicolette, Mikell
and Mi'onte; great-grandson, Glenn; sisters, Sandra and Tagerin; brothers,
Clarence and Gregory; and many loving nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles,
cousins, and host of other familyand friends, with a special acknowledge-
ment to Ricky Grimes. He is preceded in death by his brothers Ricky and
Dale Jackson.
