A Time To Be Born Susan Loretta Hendricks-Chesley, was the oldest of three children born to the late Nora Sue Bell and Haywood L. Hendricks on June 7, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. A Time To Serve Sue was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System, and was a proud graduate of Northern High School. A short time later Sue decided to further her education as she went on to pursue a career in nursing. She be- came a licensed nurse's assistant for Baltimore City, and was gainfully em- ployed with several nursing homes in the Baltimore area. Sue in her later years became happily employed as a Director at "Master Security Agency Inc." until her health began to fail her. A Time To Be Happy Susan was married to Nathaniel Chesley during her younger days. Later Susan met Mr. Andrew Baker, her life partner and the relationship pro- duced one son, Christopher Baker. Her only son was truly the apple of her eye. They spent some of their happiest moments together while vacation- ing at Kings Dominion Amusement Park in Virginia. Some of Sue's most memorable past times were spending quality time with her two best girl- friends, Diane Watkins and Yvonne Blackwell. Susan loved dressing up in beautiful outfits and getting her nails done to match her fashions. She also had a great sense of humor. Despite cracking corny jokes, which were not funny-she really liked laughing at her jokes. Susan was warm, friendly and had a cheerful personality. She had a great love for her family and friends. A Time To Die On Saturday, September 27, 2014, suffering from congestive heart failure, Sue departed this life here on earth, gained her independence, and went on to live with God through eternity. A Time To Mourn Precious memories now remain with those who loved her. Susan leaves to celebrate her life: her beloved son, Christopher Baker; her life partner, Andrew Baker; her siblings, Carel McCants, Ray Muhammad, Synthia Muhammad, James Parker; one niece, Tamika Hendricks; three nephews, Rasheed, Jihad and A.J. Additionally, she leaves to cherish her memories a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
