Obituary

Suzanne E. Wilson, daughter of the late Anna and Vernon Jackson, was born on March 21, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on January 4, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Sue, as she was fondly known, received her education in the Philadelphia school system. After high school she took on various jobs here in Baltimore City, working at Read's Drug Store, Bickford's, Continental Can Company and finally settled in as the "Best Front Desk Receptionist" at the Sutton Place Apartments. Sue's favorite pastime was eating the Golden Corral and then shopping at the $10 Store. Sue's wonderful personality and Big Heart brought her many friends and acquaintances. She was loved by all of those that met her. She loved children, especially her granddaughter Renee and her great-granddaughters Jasmine and Alisha; they were the joy of her life. She was blessed with three children, Anthony who preceded her in death, Adrienne and Deborah whom she cherished with all of her heart. She also has many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was a great friend, mother, sister, auntie and grandmother and will be missed by all. She leaves behind to mourn: her loving daughter, Deborah and Adrienne Hill; her husband Harry l. Wilson; a sister, Edith Tubman; a brother, Howard Jackson; a host of other family and friends.
