Sylvia Diane Henry, was born to the late Fred Douglas and Beatrice Elizabeth Wise. She passed away on Friday, June 6,2014. Sylvia received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She worked as a sales associate and domestic worker. Sylvia dedicated her life to Jehovah on June 10, 1982. She spent much time witnessing from door to door and informally to all she met including her family. During times of trials and tribulations, Sylvia knew to call on the name of Jehovah ... see that's how strong her faith was. On March 12, 1988, she married the late Robert Henry. In Sylvia younger years she loved going dancing, one of her favorite spots was Ode lls Night Club. She always had a jazzy dress style and her hair was always done. She enjoyed singing all the time but especially with her family. She loved to bake and everything was from scratch. Al- though she never had children of her own she was like a second mother to her nephews and nieces. Sylvia added the finishing touches to every- thing. Preceding her death was her sister, Maxine Wise-Grant and nephew, Raymond Wise. Leaving to cherish her memories are: one brother, Fred Wise Jr.; two nephews, Michael (Juliette) and Wesley (Ernestine); two nieces, Crystal (Darnell) and Cassandra; five great nephews, Jacques, Brandon, Byron, Dawon and Christopher; eight great nieces, Crystal, Destiny, La Toya, Michelle, Loravia, Michelle, Jasmine, and Saucia; six great- great neph- ews and nieces, cousins, and one special lifelong friend, Louise Watson.
